Questions we get asked a lot.
Why is everything 'starting from'?
Because editing cost depends on word count and the level the manuscript is at. We quote you a fixed final number after reviewing your manuscript — so no surprises — but the entry point varies by book length.
Do you take royalties?
No. You own your ISBN, your rights, and 100% of your royalties. We're paid one time, for the work.
How long does the whole process take?
Foundation: 6–8 weeks. Signature: 10–14 weeks. Guardian: 16–24 weeks depending on manuscript state. We don't start anything without giving you a concrete timeline.
What if my manuscript isn't ready?
We'll tell you during the consult. You might need another revision round before editing begins — and we'd rather tell you upfront than cash your check and deliver something that won't sell.
Can I upgrade or add services later?
Yes. Start where you need to, add what you need as you go. No package lock-in.
